Burgundy With a Citrus Bite

Happy 2026!

I’ve always been an advocate for the idea that fashion and interiors are deeply connected, both are ways to express your personality and personal style. I love a monochromatic look (not black and white, of course!), but one built on tonal palettes, layered textures, varied hues, and interesting shapes.

When done well, this approach can instantly transform both an interior and an outfit, shifting it from what I bought to how I styled it, but in a way that actually works (important!).

True to my style, I always feel the need to add a pop or a contrasting colour. A citrus zest breaks up the monochromatic feel and adds an edge, something that naturally becomes a conversation starter (and we Londoners are very good at that… usually via the weather). I guarantee it gets people talking!

When it comes to monochromatic looks, the key is using similar hues alongside different finishes and textures to stop things from feeling flat. nd if you’re feeling particularly quirky, adding a touch of leopard print can elevate the whole look and take it somewhere unexpected, a testament to my long-standing love of leopard, (perhaps inspired by Kat Slater on EastEnders).
