Brown has become one of the defining colours of the season, taking over runways, wardrobes, and interiors alike. It’s a hue that exudes warmth and sophistication, effortlessly grounding any look or space.
Having loved experimenting with brown across my outfits, I wanted to explore how this timeless shade translates into interiors. This moodboard celebrates the versatility of brown, showing how it can shift from cozy and earthy to bold and refined depending on how it’s styled. Pairing brown with green- whether khaki, olive, or emerald creates a sense of balance and natural harmony. These tones complement each other beautifully, with deeper browns bringing depth and structure while greens add freshness and vitality - just like we see in nature!
In this space, I’ve chosen to use dark brown for the larger furniture and accent pieces, anchoring the palette while allowing the smaller decorative elements to shine. The result is a rich, tonal setting where each shade enhances the other, creating a warm, modern atmosphere that feels both grounded and contemporary.
